Three-Day Weekend! Woo hoo!

Hit Buffalo on Sunday for a day of shopping, food, and art. We hit all the stores we don't have in Canada. I got cute rain boots from Target! We also went to the Albright-Knox Art Gallery for an exhibit on abstract art, which was super interesting.

Oh, and this is the song I loved from my high school days that I was trying to sing in the car on the way back... It comes complete with cheesy early 90s video!

Sad News

Émilie Mondor, a Canadian Olympic runner, died in a car accident last night. She was 25. She went to the same high school as I did, and she was 2 grades behind me. I didn't know her personally, but I remember that she used to win most track and field events at the school's olympics every year. She was the pride of the high school and her every move was followed by the local paper. So sad for someone so young to pass away.
