Cat Harbinger of Death

I stumbled upon this article, A Day in the Life of Oscar The Cat, about a cat living in a nursing home. He can apparently predict which patient is going to die next. I must say, this has me very intrigued. I'm not one for superstition at all so I am just wondering what the cat perceives that lets him know the patient will die soon. So strange.

This article is The New England Journal of Medicine so it is not like Conspiracy Theory Magazine or something. LOL

Oooo, Cupcakes and Computers!

Yesterday, the girls with whom I had dinner with had been to The Cupcake Shoppe before and were carrying those little delicacies with them. I will need to make a trip there to try some of their cupcakes because the menu looks divine.

In the realm of computers, my officemate found this nifty little software called Key Breeze that allows you to start applications, switch programs,... with only a key stroke. It's a pretty smart little tool to have that saves a lot of mouse clicking on your desktop.

The Shopping Blog

I went shopping last night, and bought a pair of Keds! I almost bought these ones, but they were far too white (seeing as I am the world's whitest woman already!) and made me looked like I had stepped out of the 80s! It was Rainbow Brite/Carebears/My Little Pony inspired. I think it was the 6-year-old in me that really wanted them.

In other shoe news, I want these.

Last night, I also got a navy purse, and it is fabulous. It was on sale too, which always helped. I wanted to put up a pic of it, but I can't find it online. I need to get myself a digital camera one of these days

Tonight, I went out with Donna, who was in town from Boston, and other friends. We laughed a lot and fun was had by all, I think. :)

Not Much To Report

I am working a lot, but I am in fact still alive. ;) Nothing all that interesting to report or link to. I'll need to work on that. I did see Miss Potter last night, which I enjoyed.
