My Day Sucked but Not As Much as Other People's...

As I was coming in the hospital a bit earlier, a ton of sirens started blaring and a flurry of ambulances and fire trucks started gathering around a nearby building. This is FREAKY: Elevator Plunges Five Floors in Toronto Building. Poor people. That must have been so scary. It's a 15-storey building so I guess it is lucky they weren't higher up.

I once was in an elevator that decided to drop one floor without notice. I was supposed to get off on the 27th, it went up one more floor, then just dropped back to the 27th. I thought I was going to DIE. Worst.Elevator.Ride.Ever.

Woah. Not cool! I'm not a fan of elevators to start with, not because I am claustrophobic but because the movement pu and down tends to make me light-headed. I think I'd faint if it plummeted to the ground.

I've done that too. It dropped a few feet and caught, and then a couple more. I was on the 9th. Then the doors opened and it was between floors so we could only see the guys head up above us (but down on the floor where he was). I was flat on the ground, sure I was going to die.

I hate elevators and apparently have since I was an infant. I cried everytime I got in one my entire childhood, according to my mom.

I especially hate them when there aren't mirrors on the walls. I get so claustrophobic.
