It has nothing to do with Patsy Cline but it's a song also called Crazy by Montreal band Simple Plan. (One of my friends actually went to school with some of the band members. Small world.) They were on my favourite Quebecer talkshow last night, and I thought the song they performed had interesting lyrics so here they are...

Have you heard Alanis' cover of Seal's Crazy? She has a best of coming out tomorrow. I may want it.
No, I haven't. I need to go look for an excerpt of it online somewhere.
I saw a picture of Alanis recently with a black do and bangs. Oy. I hope that is not her new look.
Okay, I found Alanis's video. She has the "dark hair & bangs" look. I'm not super thrilled with it although it looks better than the other pic of it that I saw a few weeks ago.
The song: Eh. I love the original song so I'm not sure the little dance beat she added really goes with it. I'll have to listen to it a few times before deciding if I like it or not.
That makes me think... Did you see Madonna's new song which is using the melody of ABBA's "Gimme Gimme"? The song is good but that clip is just so wrong. Wearing a leotard with high heels and having feathered hair was bad in the 70s/80s. Time has not made these elements better.
